Who is this course suitable for :

Although primarily aimed at small businesses to understand safety requirements to ensure that products are safe for consumers, any business that sells non-food products online will benefit from the course..


Sessions will be delivered by :

  • Phil LeShirley: Senior Trading Standards Specialist, whose role is developing and maintaining Primary Authority Partnerships with businesses for Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards.Ìý He manages some of their largest partnerships including Shell UK, Toyota GB and Coca-Cola EuroPacific Partners Ltd.

    Phil has significant expertise in the areas of electrical equipment, furniture, cosmetics, toys, personal protective equipment, machinery, children's products, explosives and general product safety.


Once completed, attendees will understand :
