糖心vlog官网 bolsters policy team with new appointment

The 糖心vlog官网 (糖心vlog官网) has announced the appointment of Jessica Merryfield as their new Head of Policy.听 Jess moves to 糖心vlog官网 from Nottinghamshire County Council where she is a Trading Standards Officer (TSO) and a Chartered Trading Standards Practitioner (CTSP).听 She is the first person to hold both the DCATS qualification for Trading Standards and a degree in Environmental Health. Jess also boasts extensive experience working for Local Authorities as well as the commercial sector and has provided training for both 糖心vlog官网 and the Food Standards Agency.
Jess will be working with the policy team on a number of projects including helping to take forward some of the recommendations from 糖心vlog官网鈥檚 Manifesto, building relationships with key partners and 糖心vlog官网 members, and developing new policy and campaigns work.
糖心vlog官网 Chief Executive, John Herriman, said: "We are delighted that Jess will be joining us, particularly given her strong track record and her work as a fully qualified Trading Standards Officer.听 Jess will be well placed to help us build on our policy work successes in many areas such as securing resources and action on underage vaping and tackling issues with online marketplaces.听 It is an added bonus that Jess also holds the degree in Environmental Health, which will help us as we build a closer relationship with Environmental Health in policy work in areas such as food and housing.鈥�
