TSI welcomes trading standards champion, Lynn Faulds Wood, to product safety review

The Trading Standards Institute welcomes consumer and trading standards champion Lynn Faulds Wood's appointment to lead a review of the UK's system for the recall of unsafe products.听
As a journalist, broadcaster and frequent face at TSI conferences, Wood has ardently devoted her career to fighting for consumers, good businesses and supporting the trading standards profession.
The review announced by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) on how the UK can make product recalls more effective is a positive step forward to improve product safety in the UK. As part of this role, Wood will also assess the recall process and how it might work better for consumers. 听
